Midfielder out to impress

Aston Villa new boy Steve Sidwell has set his sights on breaking into the England squad. Sidwell is hoping to catch the eye of England boss Fabio Capello after a frustrating 12 months at Chelsea. The 25-year-old was forced to play a bit-part role at Stamford Bridge last season following his free transfer switch from Reading. Sidwell is determined to get his career back on track and recapture the form he showed at Reading, which had him mooted as a possible England international. "I just want to come here, play good football and be part of a good team," Sidwell told the Daily Express. "That would repay the manager and chairman. "Also there's a lot of English talent coming through here. Capello was here a lot last season, so it's another good reason to come."
