Newcastle's Matt Ritchie suffered a minute to forget after missing a glorious chance at one end, before allowing Ipswich to take the lead at the other.

So often his side's hero this season, Ritchie missed a clear cut header to give Newcastle the lead at Portman Road, before losing the ball in the build-up to Freddie Sears' opener.

And to add insult to injury, the winger was even the last man back as he attempted to win possession back for his side, only to see the ball deflect off of him before going into the net.

Newcastle then pulled level in the game through Daryl Murphy, but Ipswich rallied and went on to win the game thanks to second-half goals scored by David Mcgoldrick and Emyr Huws.
