Defender sees his future in the Premier League

Newcastle United defender David Rozehnal has revealed that he would like to settle down at St James' Park. The Czech Republic international joined The Magpies in the summer, from Paris Saint Germain for an initial £2.9million. The 27-year-old has looked assured in his four Premier League start, and has helped Sam Allardyce's side remain unbeaten. Rozehnal spent two seasons at both of his previous clubs, but it now appears he is ready to commit his future after penning a four-year deal on Tyneside. "I would not be against a longer stay, with my wife we would like to settle down finally," Rozehnal explained in Sport. "So far I have been telling myself that I was doing gradual steps to better clubs and better competitions. "But now I am playing in the world's best league and I would not mind if I stayed there for a longer time. "The Premier League has fantastic commitment, fighting spirit and high tempo."
