Magpies ace happy to play anywhere for Allardyce

Utility man Geremi says he is happy and comfortable playing anywhere for Newcastle United.

Manager Sam Allardyce has asked the former Chelsea man to play in midfield and in defence in recent weeks and the Cameroon international has no problem constantly switching roles.

With the likes of Mark Viduka, Damien Duff and Stephen Carr closing in on first-team returns, Geremi is happy playing anywhere for Allardyce as long as he retains his place in the side.

"We have a lot of very good players at Newcastle and some of them are just returning from injury," explained Geremi.

"So far this season I have played in a number of positions, but I will play anywhere and feel I can adapt.

"I don't feel like I'm playing out of position when I move because I'm comfortable in a lot of roles."
