Inter Milan defender Nicolas Burdisso has rejected talk linking him with a move to Newcastle.

Argentine plans Inter stay

Inter Milan defender Nicolas Burdisso has rejected talk linking him with a move to Newcastle saying he wants to stay at the San Siro. Reports over the weekend suggested Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan was lining up a move for the Argentine as he looks to shore up his side's defence. Keegan is in the market for a new left-back and he was thought to be weighing up a bid for the versatile performer. Burdisso's future at Inter remains uncertain with the Argentine well down the pecking order in Jose Mourinho's plans. Fiorentina have also been credited with an interest in the 27-year-old, but Burdisso says he has no plans to leave Inter. ""I have no intention of leaving Inter," Burdisso told the Gazzetta dello Sport. "I'm staying right here."
