Everton and Tottenham are among a number of Premier League clubs who have expressed an interest in Fulham youngster Moussa Dembele, according to Sky sources.

But the Championship side are determined to keep the 19-year-old until the end of the season when his contract expires.

Fulham would be due compensation in the summer from whoever Dembele decides to join, agreed either privately or via tribunal, because of the forward's homegrown player status.

The west London club are also under a transfer embargo in January, but it is understood they do not feel they are in a position where they have to sell the Frenchman next month.

Dembele has been offered a new four-year deal to stay at Craven Cottage but, although he is keen to remain at the club for the rest of the campaign and help them push up the table under new head coach Slavisa Jokanovic, he is unlikely to sign the new terms on offer.

A number of other top-flight clubs from France and Italy have expressed an interest in Dembele, but Fulham are yet to receive contact from any club about a possible deal.

Dembele has scored 10 goals in 24 appearances for Fulham this term.

He signed from Paris Saint-Germain as a 16-year-old in 2012 before making his debut the following year, and has scored 12 times in 42 games for Fulham overall.
