Norwich have made an improved bid in excess of £10m for Fulham striker Ross McCormack, according to Sky sources.

Fulham had rejected two offers from Norwich for the striker, but we understand the Canaries have returned with an improved bid for the 29-year-old who scored 21 Championship goals last season although Fulham will only accept offers in excess of £12m.

McCormack did not travel to Portugal with the rest of Slavisa Jokanovic's squad as they continue their pre-season preparations ahead of their opening Championship fixture against Newcastle on August 5 - live on Sky Sports.

Reports suggest Aston Villa are interested in the Scotland international, who moved to Fulham from Leeds for £11m in 2014, but has since been involved in two seasons of struggle at Craven Cottage.
