See just why Aston Villa manager Roberto Di Matteo has been prepared to fork out £12m in order to sign striker Ross McCormack from Fulham this summer…
McCormack moved to Craven Cottage for a massive transfer fee in 2014, with the Scotland international excelling during his two seasons in west London.
In his debut campaign with the Cottagers, McCormack found the back of the net 17 times in the Championship, before increasing that tally to 21 goals in 45 league matches last season, a figure second only to Andre Gray in the division's scoring charts.
And it is that kind of deadly eye for goal that has persuaded Villa to bring the player to Villa Park in this transfer window as the West Midlands club look to return to the Premier League at the very first time of asking.
