Charlton fans used the final game of the season at The Valley to continue their protests against owner Roland Duchatelet ahead of the clash with Burnley.
Having previously staged a mock funeral outside the ground and thrown balloons and beachballs onto the pitch - causing delays to play - fans staged a sit-in in the club car park to register their frustration at the running of the club, who will be playing in League One next season following relegation.
However, there was no delay to the kick-off against the Clarets, with Burnley bidding for the victory that would see them crowned Championship champions.
Only when scored Andre Grey scored Burnley's third on 51 minutes, two minutes after George Boyd had added a second to Sam Vokes' first-half opener, was there a short delay after a flare was thrown onto the pitch.
Another flare was then thrown later in the game, which Burnley won 3-0 to secure the title and both clubs will head into next season in opposite directions.
