GOALKEEPER - Alan Miller
DANNY SAYS: He came to West Brom on loan from Middlesbrough and within two or three games he was a fans' favourite. Some of the saves he was pulling off were top drawer. To play in front of him was fantastic.
DEFENDER - JAMES COLLINS
DANNY SAYS: A fantastic player. He's someone I played with at Cardiff and we played together at West Ham. He actually made his debut as a striker at Cardiff - and scored on his debut or his second game! They soon realised he was a bit better playing at the back.
DEFENDER - ASHLEY WILLIAMS
DANNY SAYS: it shows the mark of the man - both mentality and ability - when you are able to captain your country as well as you club and then put in consistent performances week in and week out.
DEFENDER - ANTON FERDINAND
DANNY SAYS: When I moved to West Ham, and got the chance to play alongside him he was fantastic and we struck up a great partnership. Normally with centre-backs you like to play with someone a little bit different to you, but we were very similar.
DEFENSIVE MIDFIELD - MARK NOBLE
DANNY SAYS: A brilliant player. One of the best technical players I have played with and he's so intelligent as well. If you ever trained in five-a-side or did possession you wanted him in your team because he never gives the ball away.
LEFT MIDFIELD - GARY SPEED
DANNY SAYS: What can I say? A great guy, unbelievable professional. I looked up to this guy and used to watch him and how he conducted himself off the pitch and how he trained. I was in awe of him a little bit to be honest and learned a lot off him.
RIGHT MIDFIELD - AARON RAMSEY
DANNY SAYS: He is one of the most natural players I have ever played with. I don't think he needed to be coached when you see how he glides past people. He has had his technique from a kid and has probably only learned the defensive side of the game. Everything else he hasn't needed to be coached.
ATTACKING MIDFIELD - GARETH BALE
DANNY SAYS: Just a phenomenal talent. I remember seeing him as a 17-year-old coming into a training camp with Wales and no-one really knew about him. From day one he was technically so advanced for his age and you knew straight away this boy was going to be a top player. He's a top guy as well.
LEFT FORWARD - RYAN GIGGS
DANNY SAYS: Another legend. What can I say? He's one of the best players, besides Gareth Bale, I have played with. He could do anything and play anywhere. A lot of people say he didn't play as well for the national team, but he was fantastic. A top player and professional.
RIGHT FORWARD - CRAIG BELLAMY
DANNY SAYS: He's a top player and under-rated by a lot of people. He's a guy who could raise the standard of a training session on his own. I loved training with him because I knew I couldn't be sloppy in my game or else he would be on me.
STRIKER - DEAN ASHTON
DANNY SAYS: I did have Teddy Sheringham, but I have changed my mind and gone with Dean Ashton. He is very similar to Sheringham and is a fantastic player. He could do anything; great vision; could play people in; hold the ball up and he has every finish. I had some great battles with him in the lower leagues as well.
