West Ham have recalled striker Rob Hall from his loan with Oxford just one day after he extended his deal at the club.

The 18-year-old forward has netted six times in 14 appearances during his stay with the U's. Speaking to Oxford's official website, manager Chris Wilder said: "It is a blow because Rob has shown what he can do in front of goal, but we always knew how highly regarded he is at West Ham and that this could happen. "Tommy Craddock and Deane Smalley both scored at the weekend, we have James Constable and Jon-Paul Pittman, plus Alfie Potter back from injury and young Matt Fletcher with us now."
