Lee Williamson has admitted he would be keen to secure a permanent move to Preston.

Midfielder unsure of future

Lee Williamson has admitted he would be keen to secure a permanent move to Preston. The Watford midfielder moved to Deepdale on loan last week and he will stay with Alan Irvine's side until the end of the season. Williamson, who is set to make his Preston debut against Bristol City on Saturday, is under contract at Watford until the summer of 2010. The 26-year-old is unsure where he will be plying his trade next term but concedes he would be interested in extending his arrangement with Preston. He said: "I've got another season left on my contract at Watford, but I'm not sure where my future is going to be. I am going to have to sit down with the club and talk about it. "It would be down to the gaffer, Brendan Rodgers, and how much he wants to keep me or not keep me. "But from what I have seen so far here, Preston is definitely a club I would like to sign for if things could be sorted out."
