Oscar Threlkeld has become the latest player to extend his loan stay at Plymouth.

Threlkeld, who can play in a variety of positions, saw his initial deal from Bolton expire after the win against Carlisle on Saturday but he will now remain with the current Sky Bet League 2 leaders until April 9.

"I'm obviously delighted that Bolton Wanderers and ourselves have been able to extend Oscar's loan deal," Plymouth boss Derek Adams told the club's official website.

"It is great that Oscar wants to stay. He has been an integral part of our recent success. He can play in a variety of positions and has produced some stand-out performances of late."
