Carlos Carvalhal spoke exclusively to Sky Sports about Fernando Forestieri's decision not to travel with Sheffield Wednesday

Carlos Carvalhal spoke exclusively to Sky Sports about Fernando Forestieri's decision not to travel with Sheffield Wednesday for their game at Norwich and about the wider issue of player and agent power in modern football.

The Owls boss was left frustrated by his forward's actions ahead of their game at Carrow Road on Saturday evening, which eventually finished as a goalless draw.

Forestieri, 26, has been a key player for Sheffield Wednesday since joining the club last summer, and scored the only goal a week earlier as they beat Aston Villa 1-0 in their Sky Bet Championship opener.

He scored 15 goals last season as they made it to the play-off final, and has been linked with moves to Championship rivals Newcastle and Derby County this summer.
