QPR midfielder Sandro has flown to Turkey for a medical at Antalyaspor, according to Sky sources.

It is understood the Brazilian will sign a three-and-a-half year contract with the club, who competed with fellow Super Lig side Osmanlispor for the player's signature.

Sandro has made only eight appearances for the Loftus Road side in what has been another injury-hit campaign for the 27-year-old.

Fellow QPR midfielder Tjaronn Chery is also due to travel abroad for a transfer in the current transfer window as he closes in on a move to Guizhou.

Chery is still training with QPR but will not feature in their FA Cup game against Blackburn this weekend. Chery made it clear last week that he wanted to leave QPR.

Meanwhile, Sky sources understand QPR have made a bid for Bristol City midfielder Luke Freeman.
