Burnley and Leeds have agreed an undisclosed compensation fee for Charlie Taylor, with the matter no longer needing to go to tribunal.
Taylor joined Burnley on a four-year deal earlier in July after his Leeds contract expired, despite being offered a new deal to stay at Elland Road.
He made clear his desire to quit the club when he refused to play in Leeds' final game of the season at Wigan, for which he was later fined two weeks' wages.
The 23-year-old was crowned Player of the Year at Leeds at the end of the 2015-16 campaign and will now try to make his mark in the Premier League.
Taylor became Burnley's first high-profile signing of the summer, with Stoke forward Jonathan Walters and Swansea midfielder Jack Cork subsequently joining the Clarets.
Manager Sean Dyche has also allowed a number of players to leave for free this summer.
George Boyd and Joey Barton have departed Turf Moor, while highly-rated centre-back Michael Keane has joined Everton for a fee which could rise to £30m.
Burnley begin their new Premier League campaign away to Chelsea on August 12, with their first appearance in front of the Sky Sports cameras coming at home to Crystal Palace on September 10.
