West Bromwich Albion remain hopeful of signing Czech goalkeeper Michal Danek.
The Viktoria Plzen shot-stopper spent time on trial with The Baggies earlier this month and he impressed manager Tony Mowbray and his backroom staff.
West Brom are now trying to land Danek, although his club Plzen do not want a loan - which is what has been offered by the English club.
Mowbray has revealed that there will be 'no panic' if they do not manage to land Danek - as he is also set to bring in another mystery trialist this week.
"If he [Danek] doesn't sign there will be no panic because if we pick up an injury we still have the loan market until the last six weeks of the season and can go to a Premier League club and maybe get an experienced keeper to fill a hole if required as some clubs carry three keepers.
"But if we can find the right one that will solve the problem.
"The process continues and we might have another goalkeeper coming in this week to have a look at.
"We're still looking at goalkeepers."
Talks
Mowbray is holding talks with Dean Kiely, whose contract expires in the summer, about his future, and another player set for a similar meeting is Martin Albrechtsen.
"This week there will be some conversations with Martin's advisors and we'll see what develops from there," said Mowbray
"We are aware of his contractual situation.
"When players get to this stage the future is very much in their hands. We will have conversations and see what happens.
"If there is a willingness from both sides then great.
"If one wants to do it and one doesn't then we have a problem. If both don't want to then we have a major problem."
Scottish moves
Meanwhile, former Hibs boss Mowbray is set to return north of the border for a possible new signing.
He has invited Livingston's highly-rated forward Graeme Dorrans to spend next week at The Hawthorns.
Mowbray is understood to have been tipped off about 20-year-old Dorrans by Livi boss Mark Proctor and his assistant Curtis Fleming - both former team-mates of the West Brom boss from their Middlesbrough days.
But Mowbray has denied that he has any interest in Hibernian midfielder Guillaume Beuzelin.
"I don't know what substance there is to this story," said Mowbary.
"I worked with Guillaume for two years - people can write what they like.
"There is such intense competition with national newspapers in Scotland that if you suggest any sniff of a rumour or a name then it drifts onto the back page. I would say it's unsubstantiated.
"He was my first signing but I've nothing to say. If I sit here and comment on every bit of speculation then it gets silly."
