Millwall look set to beat Bournemouth to the signing of Cardiff City goalkeeper David Forde. Bournemouth had been hoping to sign Forde on a permanent basis after he impressed during two months on loan with Kevin Bond's side. But the Cherries' relegation to League Two appears to have prompted Forde to accept a move to Millwall instead. With a deal for Forde now looking unlikely, Bournemouth boss Bond admits he will have to look elsewhere for a new keeper. "I am very mindful of the situation and will endeavour to do everything I can to address it," Bond told the Daily Echo. "It is definitely a priority. "I want to bring in a goalkeeper and would like that goalkeeper to have been Fordey. "But it looks like he's going to Millwall, so we'll have to see where we can go for a goalkeeper."
