Michael Kightly has ended speculation over his future by signing a new four-year deal at Wolves.
The England Under 21 international has caught the eye over the past couple of seasons and has frequently been linked with a move to the Premier League.
Kightly's rise has been meteoric as he only joined Wolves on a full-time basis in 2007 from Grays, having earlier in his career been shown the door by Southend.
Content with the strides he has made since breaking back into the professional game at Molineux, Kightly insists he has never held any desire to quit the Midlands.
End of speculation
"I'm really pleased that the deal has been completed," Kightly told the club's official website. "I hope this will stop all of this talk about me wanting to leave.
"I've really enjoyed myself at Wolves and I hope that has shown with the passion in my play. I wear the Wolves shirt with pride and will continue to do so.
"The club is going in the right direction. Everyone concerned with it wants to be in the Premier League and I want to be there with them."
Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey added: "We are delighted that Michael has signed a new four-year contract, committing himself to Wolves for the long term."
