Defender agrees three-and-a-half-year deal at Ricoh Arena

Coventry City have completed the signing of Livingston defender James McPake for an undisclosed fee. The 24-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at the Ricoh Arena after leaving the Scottish Division One side. McPake becomes the latest arrival in the Midlands following manager Chris Coleman's recent loan signings of Jordan Henderson and Lee Sawyer, and the permanent move of David Bell. St Mirren were also thought to be keen to secure McPake's signature, with the SPL outfit having had a bid for the player rejected in the past. McPake, who can also play in attack, made 100 appearances for Livingston since joining the club's academy in 2004.
