Defender keen to make up for lost time

Gordon Greer is keen to extend his loan spell at Swindon as he continues his recovery from a long-term injury. The Doncaster defender joined the Robins on a one-month deal at the end of January, having spent the previous year on the sidelines. He has made two appearances since and has looked solid in both outings. Swindon boss Danny Wilson is believed to be keen on keeping the 28-year-old at the County Ground for the foreseeable future and Greer admits he would be more than happy to stay. "You tend to look into the future," he told the Swindon Advertiser. "At the moment I've still got another few games this month so there's still a lot of games and a lot of football to be played. "But I'm sure come the end of the month something will be sorted out. I've missed a lot of football over the past year so I want to make up for it and play as many games as I can before the end of the season."
