Striker enjoying regular football at Brentford

Jordan Rhodes hopes to break into the Ipswich side when he returns to Portman Road at the end of his loan spell with Brentford. The 19-year-old striker has taken League Two by storm since linking up with the Bees in January, scoring five goals in as many games. Rhodes' performances have attracted attention and there has been speculation about where his future could lie. He admits he is enjoying the experience but remains committed to Ipswich. "I am scoring goals for Brentford so that I can play for Ipswich Town," said Rhodes. "I am doing it for Ipswich and to show what I can do. "Playing for Brentford at the top of the league is much better for me than playing reserve football at Ipswich, and I am grateful for Mr (Jim) Magilton to allow me to go on loan. "I am buzzing at the moment, but my priority remains with Ipswich Town and to win a first team place at Portman Road."
