Terriers finally capture young Ipswich striker

Huddersfield have completed the signing of young forward Jordan Rhodes from Ipswich. The 19-year-old has been a long-term target of Town boss Lee Clark and has signed a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee. Rhodes is Clark's sixth summer signing as he aims to steer the Terriers out of League One. The youngster failed to make a league start for Ipswich but scored seven goals in 14 games on loan at League Two champions Brentford for the second half of last season. "It has been a long time coming," said Clark.

Impressive

"His goal ratio in the games he has played is very good, but his all-round game is very impressive. "He has a good touch, works extremely hard and works the line well. I couldn't be happier with the four strikers I have got now." Clark has already bolstered his attack with the signing of strikers Theo Robinson and Robbie Simpson this summer.
