Lions boss acknowledges interest in Lisbie and Simpson

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett has confirmed he has been considering bids to sign attacking duo Jay Simpson and Kevin Lisbie. Arsenal youngster Simpson has previously spent a season on loan with the Lions while released Ipswich striker Lisbie is also on Jackett's radar. However, while Jackett has acknowledged an interest in the pair, he insists there are no imminent plans to bring the players to The Den. "We will see on Kevin Lisbie," Jackett told the News Shopper. "It isn't something right now I'm going for, but he may interest me in the future. "There is a possibility with Jay Simpson. "I don't think there is anything imminent with either him or Kevin Lisbie, but they are both players we have discussed. "There would be a long way to go before we sign any of those players and I would want to make it clear neither of them will imminently be coming in to Millwall Football Club."
