Striker's scan reveals that shoulder injury is not serious

Queens Park Rangers expect striker Heidar Helguson to return to training by the end of the week. The Icelander limped off against Bristol City last Friday night with a shoulder injury shortly after the hour mark at Ashton Gate. But Helguson has since undergone further assessment which has confirmed that there is no serious damage and that he should soon be back in training. Physio Nigel Cox told the club's official website: "We sent him for a scan which confirmed what we suspected. "There's inflammation around the area but nothing more and I would expect him to resume full training with the rest of the first team towards the end of the week."
