Defender out for five weeks after suffering hamstring injury

Ipswich Town defender Luke Hyam has been ruled out of action for up to five weeks after suffering a hamstring injury. Hyam has made 13 appearances for Town this season after making his debut at Middlesbrough on the opening day of the Championship campaign. However, he has now joined fellow defender Mark Kennedy on the sidelines after picking up the injury in last week's defeat against Barnsley. Town boss Roy Keane told the club's official website: "It looks like Luke will be out for around about five weeks. "It's the first hamstring injury he has had, and he couldn't gauge whether he had torn it or not, and I can understand that. "Credit to the lad though, he played on, and I admire that."
