Championship TOTW

Image: Emile Sinclair: Grabbed a hat-trick for Peterborough

Sky Sports picks out this week's Championship star men after a double-header of action.

Team of the Week

Robert Olejnik - Peterborough United
After an appalling start to the season, things are picking up at Peterborough. Olejnik has only conceded one goal in his last two starts against Hull City and Barnsley, keeping a clean sheet at Oakwell.
Craig Alcock - Peterborough United
Darren Ferguson's Peterborough have conceded goals for fun this season, but Alcock has helped them turn things around lately as the London Road club got off the mark with victories over the Tigers and the Tykes.
Matthew Connolly - Cardiff City
The former QPR defender has maintained Cardiff's defensive reputation in the past week. He's been part of a defence that has conceded only once in two games and also bagged a brace against Blackpool.
Wes Morgan - Leicester City
Former Nottingham Forest favourite Morgan has been a rock at the heart of Leicester's defence as they took six points from two tricky looking away games at Middlesbrough and Huddersfield.
Mark Hudson - Cardiff City
Hudson, like Connolly, managed to shut out this week's opposition as well getting on the scoresheet for the high flying Bluebirds as they target promotion to the Premier League.
Anthony Knockaert - Leicester City
The 20-year-old Frenchman scored two fantastic goals at the John Smith's Stadium in midweek. His opening 30-yard screamer was outdone by a bewildering flick that came from a Paul Konchesky cross.
El Hadji Diouf - Leeds United
Diouf has impressed enough to force Leeds into talks of a new deal for the Senegalese striker. He scored two against Bristol City at the weekend and linked up well with Sam Byram at former club Bolton on Tuesday.
Matt Phillips - Blackpool
Phillips has had as much of an impact at Blackpool this season as reported Premier League target Thomas Ince. He scored at the KC Stadium on Tuesday night to help inflict a second home defeat in a row on Hull City.
Emile Sinclair - Peterborough United
Hat-trick hero Sinclair scored his first goals of the season at Hull City on Saturday as Peterborough recorded their first win of the campaign, before their midweek success at Barnsley.
Wilfried Zaha - Crystal Palace
Zaha scored two goals in an impressive 2-1 victory over Wolves at Molineux in midweek. The 19-year-old also shone against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.
Charlie Austin - Burnely
Austin is the second Championship player to bag a hat-trick this week. It wasn't enough to give Burnley all three points, though, as Sheffield Wednesday grabbed a 3-3 draw.
