French side Dijon have completed the signing of defender Papy Djilibodji on loan from Sunderland.

The 28-year-old Senegal international joined Sunderland on a four-year deal last summer but the Black Cats were relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.

And he will now return to France, having made over 150 appearances for Nantes earlier in his career.

He was then signed by Chelsea on a four-year deal in 2015 but made just one substitute appearance for the Blues and spent time on loan with Werder Bremen, before joining Sunderland.
