Striker happy to be back playing

Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones has played down his chances of playing in this weekend's Tyne-Wear derby with Newcastle. Jones made his long-awaited return from a knee injury in Wednesday's reserves clash with Wigan. The former Southampton man has been on the sidelines since June after suffering a serious knee injury on international duty for Trinidad & Tobago against England. Sunderland boss Roy Keane is weighing up the prospect of throwing Jones back into the fray against Newcastle, but the big forward is not getting carried away by his return to action. "It was nice to be back on the pitch and playing again," Jones told the Sunderland Echo. "But I don't know about this weekend's game, we just have to take things day by day. "What will be, will be. "I didn't feel 100 per cent against Wigan but as the game went on, I started moving better."
