West Brom fans can make the difference v Everton, says Alan Pardew

Alan Pardew says his West Brom players need help from the club's supporters now more than ever before.

Pardew says he was heartened by the positive reaction his players received from the travelling West Brom fans despite the 3-1 defeat to Stoke at the Bet365 stadium on Saturday.

The 56-year-old called on fans to get the Hawthorns "rocking" when the Baggies take on Everton on Boxing Day with the club hoping to end a run of 17 Premier League games without a win.

"I spoke about the fans during [the] half-time [team talk] because they, like us, would've been wondering how on earth we were losing the game 2-0," Pardew told West Brom's club website.

"We had to show them that we were up for the fight and I think we did that. They were obviously disappointed at the finish but it was good to see them give the players a positive reaction.

"That was really appreciated and now we need them more than ever.
