Alan Pardew admits he cannot be sure of his future as West Brom manager after the sackings of John Williams as chairman and Martin Goodman as chief executive.
West Brom were 16th in the Premier League when Chinese owner Guochuan Lai appointed Pardew at the end of November but have since dropped to bottom of the table.
Days after Williams and Goodman were dismissed, the club are also investigating four players over an "incident" at their warm-weather training camp in Spain this week, with Pardew confirming a curfew was broken and that he felt "let down".
Pardew remains adamant West Brom can escape relegation, but revealed uncertainties around his own future at the club following a turbulent week.
"All these situations, if your chairman and your financial director have been moved on you can't be certain of your job, you just have to try and do your job," he said ahead of the visit of Southampton on Saturday in the FA Cup fifth round.
"That's what I'll try and do. I'm an experienced manager and I'll try and use my experience to get us out of this situation.
"I'm confident that we're going to put the performances in that give us a chance to do that."
Pardew expressed his sympathy for the sackings of Williams and Goodman but accepted the club's decision.
"They're good people and I was disappointed if I'm honest," Pardew added. "The club made that call and now we have a new CEO (Mark Jenkins), I met him and we're going to move forward hopefully together.
"John and Martin did a terrific job while they were here. Now we move on. In my world that happens a lot, in theirs not so much."
Pardew confirmed the four players involved in the incident in Spain are available for selection against Southampton, but Daniel Sturridge will be absent after getting injured three minutes into his second start for West Brom.
"He has a hamstring injury, we don't think it's very serious but probably enough to keep him out of the next two games then we'll have to see," Pardew said.
"When you bring a player in, you want them to make an impact and unfortunately after three minutes that chance had gone away.
"It's crucial that we try and get him back and ready for the run in because I still feel he can make a difference for us."
