Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney says matches which are broadcast live on television have an extra edge to them.
Fulham host Sky Bet Championship leaders Wolves at Craven Cottage on Saturday evening, live on Sky Sports Football.
Cairney says playing under the floodlights, knowing the match is being watched by a live television audience makes the game feel more special, giving both sides extra motivation.
He told Sky Sports News: "I think when you are on television and under the lights it makes it a bit more special. There seems to be a bit more of an edge to the game from both teams.
"Even though it's a short turnaround from the last game it will still be a good spectacle."
Fulham currently sit fifth in the Championship standings but are 17 points behind runaway leaders Wolves, who themselves have a nine-point lead over second-placed Cardiff City.
Cairney admits Nuno Santos' side are clearly the best in the division but is confident Fulham can continue their impressive recent form and upset the odds on Saturday.
He added: "Wolves are the best side in the league. They are top by quite a way so it's going to be a tough test but one I think we can come out on top of.
"We've been in great form since Christmas really. We've been brilliant.
"We haven't got a lot of people in the physio room, that helps. We have a lot of strength in depth. We just have to keep on going."
