Griffiths finally looks set to make his mark at Molineux after making just one substitute appearance in the League Cup since joining from Dundee in January 2011.
He has spent the past two seasons on loan at Hibernian and impressed in scoring 28 goals in all competitions for the Edinburgh club last term.
The 22-year-old is now expected to become a key figure for Kenny Jackett in League One this term and has been offered a deal stay.
Wolves are also hoping to secure the long-term future of Batth, who has made 15 first-team appearances since his 2010 move from Colchester United.
He caught the eye in League One on loan at Sheffield Wednesday in the 2011/12 campaign and was praised by manager Jackett earlier this week.
The Wolves boss told the club's official website: "Danny has had a good pre-season.
"He's a good professional who does things right. I would estimate he has the ability to go on and be a leader in time.
"He didn't get as many starts last season as he would have liked but he wants to play for Wolves and wants to put that right now this season.
"Is he ready to be a regular? I think he is, yes, from what I've seen in pre-season. That will earn him a place and we'll see now whether he can keep that place, like all of the players.
"He's had an impressive pre-season and now I'm looking for him to handle League One strikers. That's his challenge now coming up."
