Robins boss in talks with potential signings

Cheltenham Town manager Mark Yates admits he is unlikely to be able to bring Colchester United winger Medy Elito back to the club next season. Elito scored three goals in 12 appearances after joining Cheltenham in March and played his part in preserving the club's Football League status. Yates is keen to improve his squad over the summer and has lined up several potential recruits, but accepts Elito is unlikely to be among the new arrivals. He told the Gloucestershire Echo: "I have spoken to Medy's agent as well as John Ward (assistant manager) at Colchester and he loved his time with us. "His efforts were much appreciated, but he has a year left at Colchester and he wants to play for his parent club now, so I'd say it's a long way off for us to bring him back here at the moment." On possible other targets, the former Kidderminster chief added: "I am meeting players and agents all the time, fielding calls and chatting to targets."
