Peterborough keeper still ruled out
Peterborough United have confirmed that goalkeeper Joe Lewis will miss the start of the new season.
Lewis fractured his kneecap in May during the play-off semi-final clash with Milton Keynes Dons.
Lewis has begun training, but manager Darren Ferguson admits he will not be ready for the start of August - with Paul Jones set to start the campaign as number one.
"Joe is coming along nicely, but he has no chance for the first few games," said Ferguson.
"I'd expect him back in full training in the middle of August and ready to play soon after that."
