Pilgrims latest club to be linked with winger

The 21-year-old netted a great opener as the Os saw off Bradford 2-1 in the FA Cup on Saturday to set up a third round home clash with Championship outfit Sheffield United. A scout is reported to have watched Demetriou, a former Arsenal trainee, who has previously been linked with Premier League side Newcastle and Championship outfit Charlton. The youngster, who has progressed through the youth ranks at Brisbane Road, "As I've said before when all this paper talk surfaces that until a club makes a firm offer it is just speculation," he said.

"This is the first I've heard of any interest from Plymouth, and all I can say at the minute is that I am very happy at Orient. "All I want to do is concentrate on my football and hopefully score as many goals as I can this season."
