Alan Pardew is confident he can resist any bids for Crystal Palace's most-coveted players this month.

Yannick Bolasie and Scott Dann both signed long-term contracts within the past six months, while Wilfried Zaha rejoined the club on a five-and-a-half-year deal only 11 months ago.

And Pardew believes Palace's commitment has helped keep a lid on the kind of speculation that saw Bolasie linked with several clubs over the summer.

"One of the reasons we gave them the contracts was to say: 'We want to keep your heart and your mind here'," said the boss, who is in talks over extending his own deal.

"So there haven't really been too many rumours about our players going out and I hope it stays like that because sometimes it is fuelled by a player's agent.

"The fact of it is that we are pretty confident that we will keep all of our best players here. One or two players who are not playing may move on if the bid is right, for sure."
