Norwich midfielder signs new deal

Norwich midfielder Tom Adeyemi has signed a new deal to keep him at the club until 2012. The 18-year-old, named the Championship Manager apprentice of the year for League One at the Football League Awards, has made 17 appearances for Norwich this term after breaking into the first-team fold during pre-season. Adeyemi, who joined the club's Academy at the age of eight, netted a stunning goal against a Manchester United XI and scored twice against Fakenham before making his senior debut when he came on as a substitute in the opening-day loss at home to Colchester. His first start came three days later in City's 4-0 Carling Cup win at Yeovil and he was then rewarded with his full league debut in a 1-1 draw with Exeter.
