Simeon Jackson is expecting more speculation about his future, but has stressed he is happy at Gillingham.

Striker happy to stay at Priestfield

Simeon Jackson is expecting more speculation about his future, but has again stressed he is happy to stay at Gillingham. The Canada international has scored 13 goals for the Gills this season and has been linked with a £1.5million move to Wolves. Gills boss Mark Stimson has previously stated it would cost more than that figure to prise Jackson away from the League One club and he is not worried about losing the striker. Queens Park Rangers are the latest team to have been tipped to launch a January bid for Jackson, but the 22-year-old is trying to focus on the busy Christmas period for Gillingham. "The window doesn't open for another few weeks, I'm just going to get my head down and do what I've always done," Jackson told the club's official website. "There's been a lot of links over the weeks and we're getting close to that time, so it will probably come again, but I'm just concentrating on the next game. "I've got a contract here for the season after this, so I just want to keep trying to improve and work hard. "I just take it one day at a time, one game at a time. I'm here and I'm going to be here until my contract's up."
