Jamie Vardy's Premier League performances have been world class - and the stats prove it.

In a detailed analysis of his displays during his 10-game scoring streak for Leicester by Pro Soccer Development, Vardy comes out with an overall rating as a striker of 92 out of 100.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were awarded 93 for the same position in a similar study last season.

Worryingly for Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal, who comes up against Vardy's Leicester on Saturday Night Football, his striker, Wayne Rooney - assessed over a six-game period in 2014/15 - rates lower than Vardy, with 91 out of 100.
