Swiss custodian could make switch to Championship
Sky Sports understands Ipswich Town are in talks to sign Swiss goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic on a free transfer.
The 27-year-old international had looked set to join fellow Championship side Hull City when earlier in the summer he shone while on trial at the KC Stadium.
Then manager Nick Barmby's departure put a proposed deal at Hull on hold, though it is thought the Tigers retain an interest.
It is Ipswich, though, who look in pole position to land the highly-rated shot-stopper, with Jakupovic having impressed while on trial at Portman Road.
Earlier in his career while at Lokomotiv Moscow, Jakupovic had a trial at Tottenham but a deal failed to materialise.
