Both players are out of contract next month, and neither will be offered a new deal.
Midfielder Koren, 33, scored 28 goals in 143 league appearances during his four years at Hull and was a key member of last season's promotion-winning side.
Defender Faye has been with Hull for the past two years but featured just three times in this season's Premier League.
Goalkeeper Steve Harper is staying at the club after his 19 appearances activated a one-year extension to his initial 12-month deal.
And talks are ongoing with striker Matty Fryatt, keeper Eldin Jakupovic and defender Joe Dudgeon.
