Bradford boss Phil Parkinson could be forced into the loan market following confirmation winger Paul Anderson has broken his leg.
Anderson was injured in a 50/50 challenge with Peterborough midfielder Michael Bostwick in Saturday's 2-0 home defeat and X-rays later revealed he had fractured his tibia in his right leg.
The 27-year-old, who joined the club on a free transfer from Ipswich in August, is expected to be sidelined for up to seven months.
"We need to have a look at our options," said Parkinson, who is already without left-sided midfielder Josh Morris due to a knee injury.
"With Josh and Ando out now, we may have to look at bringing a player in on loan.
"We look a little depleted in wide areas at the moment having lost a couple of key players."
Another winger, Filipe Morais, was ruled out for nine months in July after rupturing an anterior cruciate ligament, while forward Billy Clarke is hoping to return to training next month after sustaining knee ligament damage in August.
