Chesterfield have added midfielder Connor Dimaio to their squad until the end of the season.
Chesterfield-born Dimaio was a free agent after being released by the Spireites' Sky Bet League 1 neighbours Sheffield United and the 20-year-old has agreed a short-term deal following a successful trial at the Proact Stadium.
"Connor has fitted in well with us in training and we feel he's got a lot of potential," manager Danny Wilson told the official club website.
Dimaio made five appearances for Sheffield United and is well known to Chesterfield's new first-team coach Chris Morgan, who worked with him at Bramall Lane.
