Bradford City have confirmed that the club has been sold to two German investors.
The Yorkshire club, who were beaten in the League One play-offs by Millwall on Friday, tweeted the news on Sunday afternoon.
A statement on the club's official feed read: "Bradford City can confirm that the Club has been sold to two German investors. There will be no further statement until Tuesday."
Under manager Phil Parkinson, the Bantams finished fifth in the table last season, finishing five points off an automatic promotion spot.
The club averaged 18,090 at home games in the 2015-16 season and only Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United had higher average gates in the division.
Bradford were also League Cup runners-up in 2013 when they were in the fourth tier, while they defeated Chelsea and Sunderland en route to the FA Cup quarter-finals last term.
