Accrington Stanley have paid a club-record fee of £85,000 for on-loan midfielder Ian Craney.
Following a short stint with League One side Swansea, Craney returns to Accrington after falling down the pecking order at the Liberty Stadium.
The 25-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a three-and-a-half year deal with the League Two club and says he could not be happier with his new contract.
"I'm delighted to be back here at Accrington," said Craney. "I have great memories from the Conference-winning season and it's been fantastic coming back on loan these last few months.
"Accrington Stanley is a terrific club with a great manager and is well set up behind the scenes," he added. "The club has big ambitions and I look forward to achieving more success here in the future."
