Huddersfield Town defender Nathan Clarke has been rewarded with a new long-term contract at the Galpharm Stadium.
Clarke has come through the ranks of the League One club and has made over 260 first-team appearances for the Terriers.
He recently scored the winner in the local derby against Leeds United and has now signed a deal to stay until 2012.
The 25-year-old has been impressed by Lee Clark's impact as manager and is confident the future is bright for Huddersfield.

"It really feels like we are getting somewhere - I wouldn't have signed otherwise," Clarke told the club's
official website.
"The spell I have committed for will be a crucial time in my career, as I will be 28 in 2012.
"The club really needed to be pushing forward and I think that the appointment of the manager and his backroom staff, the backing from the new chairman and the growing fanbase shows that it is the place to be.
"I want to play at as high a level as possible and given the facilities we have here we could establish ourselves in the Championship.
"I'm excited about what lies ahead. I'm delighted that Huddersfield offered me a new contract and it's now great that I can just concentrate on my football."
