Keeper released after rejecting new deal

Millwall have released Preston Edwards after the goalkeeper rejected a new one-year contract at The Den. Lions boss Kenny Jackett offered Edwards a new deal, but the custodian has opted to snub the offer. The highly-rated 19-year-old has been let go despite interest from other clubs, meaning the Lions miss out on any possible transfer fee. Edwards made two substitute appearance for Millwall and spent most of last season on loan at Dover Athletic as they won promotion to the Conference South.
