Veteran turns loan stay into 18-month permanent deal
Veteran midfielder Darren Currie has made his loan deal at Dagenham & Redbridge into a permanent stay.
The 35-year-old moved from League Two rivals Chesterfield in November after struggling for first-team football at Saltergate this season.
He played under Daggers boss John Still at Barnet earlier in his career and has done enough to earn an 18-month deal from his former manager.
Spireites boss John Sheridan said: "This is a move that suits everyone concerned and we wish Darren all the best for the future."
Meanwhile, Daggers forward Mark Nwokeji has re-joined Luton on loan until the end of the season.
