Wilson impressed by striker's brace in friendly

Swindon Town manager Danny Wilson has confirmed he is planning to offer trialist Thomas Dossevi a contract. The Togo striker, 31, scored twice in 45 minutes to help the Robins to a 3-2 triumph over Nottingham Forest on Saturday and is now set to hold talks over a deal. Wilson admits Dossevi could not have done any more to impress and hopes the League One club can come up with a suitable offer for the former Nantes forward. "I've not had a chance to speak to the people who came over with him, so we will speak," Wilson told the club's official website. "But hopefully he will stay longer. "How can you not want him after playing like he did? But we don't know the situation yet. "It's whether we can strike a deal. Yes, we would like him to come and we think he can offer something."
